You guys at Above Heaven’s Gate are are wonderful Hawaii weddings planners! I know you hear it all the time but it is always good to know you still got it… and you sure do! I was a bit worried that the ceremony might be a quick get it over with type of thing, but Captain Howie did a wonderful job. Only down side was I didn’t have waterproof mascara… Captain Howie had me in tears. The ceremony was very touching deep and meaningful and was exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you all for everything. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Even the ocean at Angels Bay was perfect… the colors just so beautiful on that day. I think the day was picked in heaven for our Hawaii beach wedding. Thanks again! It was absolutely perfect!

We are finally getting back to you to thank you so very much for the wonderful vow renewal that we experienced at Pukalani Falls Garden. The beautiful day was only set off even more by the private Garden. Steve and I truly felt we could have stayed there forever! The message that you gave was eloquent, and Heather and Adam speak about it often. The flowers were gorgeous and unexpected, and I hope the couple they were originally meant for have been able to fulfill their own dream by now.

After 3 years of talking to various Hawaii wedding planners, thankfully we found you. Researching weddings in Hawaii seemed like a daunting task until we came upon your website.  Our  ceremony was everything we had hoped it would be. The pictures are really incredible!

My husband and I and our parents are so glad we decided to come to Hawaii and have our ceremony with you. I felt pretty confident after talking on the phone to make the arrangements, and when the time finally came, everything was perfect. My haiku lei was beautiful and I really felt like a princess. Our photographer and videographer were very easy to work with and made us feel at ease. Their direction was easy to follow and their final products were amazing. Everyone who has seen our photos is blown away. They really are the best.

To anyone considering using Pukalani Falls as their wedding site – it is a magical place and I highly recommend it. It is so beautiful and alive. I saw little “enol” like lizards run across the grass, and a huge one (the largest I’ve seen outside of an aquarium), and a giant African snail sitting on a leafy plant by the waterfall.
These critters were all guests of our ceremony and it was so awesome I spotted them! Seeing the clouds roll over the mountains in the distance is something to experience.

Capt. Howie’s flow and wording at our ceremony brought my husband and his mom to tears. My parents were very pleased and said we couldn’t have done any better at choosing to celebrate our lifelong commitment to each other, where we did, with Capt. Howie.

The music in our wedding video was excellent. Whenever my husband hears it somewhere else now, he gets teary. He’s a softie. It’s really touching, and I also highly recommend getting a Hawaiian wedding DVD made with Capt. Howie. The shots captured everything perfectly and the editing was seamless and top notch. You get a polished, priceless piece of your special day you get to relive every time you watch it. Watching the DVD stirs up those happy butterfly feelings.
Capt. Howie, Deva and everyone who helped plan and make our special day so wonderful… we can’t thank you enough. Our expectations were exceeded and it was worth every penny to travel to Hawaii and be married with Capt. Howie in paradise.

Words can not fully express how thankful we are to the staff, makeup artist, photographer and Howie for making our dream destination wedding Hawaii into a moment it time that we will never forget. As we looked upon the pictures, tears stood in our eyes. We alternately laughed and cried and were amazed at how perfectly you captured the essence of our relationship. Because of you, our Hawaiian wedding ceremony was perfect. We couldn’t have dreamed better on our own . . . You’re all so wonderful, and we can’t wait to come back to Hawaii and see you on our ten year anniversary.

If we can give any words of advice to the future couples trying to find the “right” company; fate has lead you here for a reason, so don’t make the mistake of turning away.

You went far above and beyond our expectations. We could not have dreamed of anything more perfect than our personal Hawaiian wedding
Thank you so much for opening up your home to us. You were so kind and created such a relaxing and enchanting atmosphere. You provided the perfect place for a private, intimate wedding.
The Pukalani Falls Garden and the Angel’s Bay are breathtaking. We were very fortunate to have been married in such a beautiful setting.

A month has passed since our wedding took place, and Sam and I would like to thank you for making the most blessed day of our lives as special as it was. Looking back, there is nothing we would change. Taking the alternate route from the “traditional” western wedding was one of the best choices we could have made, second only to choosing “Above Heaven’s Gate” as our ultimate wedding source and Hawaii wedding planner.

We were so impressed with everything, down to the most minute detail of our Hawaiian wedding, and I couldn’t believe how attentive and caring your staff was! In all of you, I see that this is much more than just a business, but also a passion. And to top it all off – you’re truly a man of God with genuine wisdom! Your sermon before our exchanging of vows still plays in our minds, and we use your advice often to calm our spirits during this time while Sam is underway with the Navy, and I am waiting here in New Jersey.

Thank you again for everything, and for helping us to make our Oahu wedding memorable in all the right ways. We hope to meet with you again in the future, whether it’s onboard the Kitty Hawk or somewhere in Hawaii…
