Wedding_Oahu Captain Howie and Staff,

We are already so excited, and pleased by the treatment of the employees of the company. On Monday, February 9, 2008, without thinking about the time change, I called the hotline number for the company, to in quire about a wedding in Honolulu and was forwarded straight to Capt. Howie’s cell phone. I was very impressed, especially when I learned that I had forgotten about the time change, and it was 5:30 am in Hawaii. After a few phone conversations during this week, I am already very pleased with how I have been treated.

I am a homicide investigator with the local sheriff’s office, in a rural community in North Carolina. I am very over worked, and in a low tax-base area, equally under paid. I have not had a true vacation in quite some time. My girlfriend and I have been planning on marrying, and thought that this all could only be a dream. After some research, it seems that it may be possible, but I want you to know that it feels like you are all helping our dream come true.

I want to thank you again for already helping us make our wedding in Honolulu a dream come true. Everyone has been very friendly, absolutely more than helpful. Thank you so much!!!

Hobbit_House_Hawaii Dear Captain Howie,

Bill and I were married in Hawaii at Pukalani Falls on Friday Jan 4th 2008. We were looking for a place with the beautiful Garden, water falls and possibly a view of the ocean to truly capture the beauty of a Hawaiian wedding. A friend suggested that I contact you and I must tell you honestly, I was rather skeptical and somewhat stressed about making the arrangements not really knowing what to expect. Well our wedding was perfect and everything that we had hoped it would be. Yesterday we received our wedding video and we can’t begin to tell you how truly thrilled we both are, as it was even better than we had hoped. Our compliments to Fernando for his excellent video work, he was so pleasant to work with and just did an excellent job. The way he combined Diamond Head, the ocean scenes, and the music, along with our wedding made it a perfect Hawaiian Wedding and exactly what we had dreamed it would be.

P.S. I also contacted Hawaiian Style Magazine requesting a copy of the magazine featuring your Hobbit House for our wedding album and they have agreed to send me one. We couldn’t be happier!

We are so late in sending this heartfelt thank you but know it is being sent with the utmost gratitude. When we received our pictures, we were floored. Captain Howie, you are AMAZING. Not only do you take wonderful pictures, but the words you spoke to us will forever live in our hearts. My husband actually hates being photographed, but you would never know in the pictures. Your warmth opened him up and made him feel very comfortable. Thank you. Your company is appropriately named Above Heaven’s Gate. Prior to booking with you guys, we prayed and asked God to lead us to a place to hold our sacred ceremony. Honestly, Hawaii wasn’t even in our minds. However, God led us there. When surfing the net for wedding planners in Hawaii we saw the name of the company, it was confirmation for us. Again, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. Your entire staff is just as great as you. Wade, who did my hair and makeup, was phenomenal. We went to a luau that night, and I received so many compliments all night long. People said they had never seen a hairstyle so beautiful. There is nothing we would change ever about the experience we had there. Beverly and Greg Kochuk – Wedding Packages in Hawaii

Wedding Dear Captain Howie & Staff,

We just received our CD photo album. We wanted you all to know what a wonderful reminder it is of our beautiful ceremony. We were enjoying such a great vacation with our family and this was just the icing on the cake for us.

My husband, Greg, made the plans for a renewal of our wedding vows for our 25th anniversary while we were staying in Honolulu. He got our children to keep everything a secret from me until the moment we drove out to Angels Bay.

I must share something very interesting with you. The day before we met with you, we were going to spend a day at a beach on the eastern side of Oahu. We drove to Sandy Beach and when we got out of the car, the lifeguard told us the waves could be too dangerous. He told us to travel a bit more down the road to Angels Bay; telling us we would find it more to our liking. We listened and enjoyed the beach of the afternoon. As we headed out to the parking lot at the end of the day, we crossed paths with a gentleman… shaved head, dressed in a blue sarong, and walking a German Shepherd.

We did not realize that we were to be returning to the exact beach the next day for our ceremony and that the person we had seen in the parking lot was actually Captain Howie himself! I like that story, hope you do too!

We want to thank you for greeting us in such a loving manner and welcoming us so graciously into your spectacular home and waterfall garden, when the weather turned a bit misty.

The ceremony was just right! We had our children surrounding us. I know that they will treasure that memory for their lifetime, as Greg and I will. It is important for them to know that they are growing out of the love that Greg and I share. The pictures just helped to prove that fact! Everyone was happy!

Thank you for all that you did for us that special day and for all that you do for others. May God continue to bless you all as you grace the world with your wedding packages in Hawaii!
