Dear Captain Howie, Deva, and Team at Above Heaven’s Gate,
I’m so sorry it’s taken us so long to thank you for making our rainy wedding day the most amazingly, perfect, meant-to-be day of our lives!
After Hawaii, we went back to Houston, packed up, and moved back to Colorado. We’re finally all settled and I wanted to let you all know that one of my favorite parts about returning home to Colorado is telling the story of our wedding day… both to friends who weren’t able to make it and to complete strangers!
It’s strangely ironic… rain on your wedding day, but it was so perfect.
Thank you for taking care of me – for making sure that the bride wasn’t freaking out!
The rain cleared everyone from the beach, and the small group of our friends and family beneath your umbrellas there on the beach was unbelievably amazing. Capt. Howie, you told us not to jump ship and reflected on the subtle perfection of the moment and its endurance in our lives, that love is the most important thing in the world and that marriage is the most challenging, rewarding endeavor of love. Exactly! Right on!
Perfect. Thank you.
The pictures are also incredible. Please express our gratitude to our photographer, Fernando, as well!
Thanks again for all of your efforts, your patience, and for creating a remarkable beginning to a happy marriage. We’ll always remember you.
Sincerely,
Chelsea and Aaron Kot
