Cassondra and Jay Glausier – Getting Married in Hawaii

Dear Capt Howie and his marvelous staff,

Jay and I wanted to thank all of you at HawaiiWeddings.com for making our Hawaiian wedding day such a wonderful experience. It could not have been more perfect. Your office manager Chrissy was very patient and reassured us that everything would be taken care of, and it certainly was. When we arrived the only thing we had to do was be ourselves before the camera. Everyone made us feel like we were VIP’s. Our Photographer Fern was great. He made taking pictures an enjoyable experience. We liked the fact he took his time and wanted to get the best shots possible. Even the pictures Fern was able to show us, the day of our wedding, were amazing. The Pukalani Falls garden was breath taking. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful our wedding in Hawaii was. The ceremony was small and intimate which is just what we wanted. The words and advice Captain Howie spoke during the ceremony were eloquent and meaningful. Both Capt. Howie’s wife Deva and Jenny were such a help to us while getting ready for the wedding. They brought us beverages, checked to see if we needed anything, helped me get dressed, and helped to make sure we did not forget anything when the wedding was over. Oh and I can’t forget B.J. doing my hair and makeup. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I was very pleased. Jay also liked what she did. You guys made the entire experience trouble free and that is what we wanted. You never know… we may come back to renew our vows at some point in the future. Oh by the way, Jay loved the exotic bread fruit Capt. Howie cooked from the tree in your garden!

Alan & April Presswood – Hawaii Destination Wedding

Dear Capt. Howie and your wonderful staff,

Alana and I cannot put into words how much personalized care you and your staff put into our special Hawaiian wedding day. You made our dream a reality in the heavenly Pukalani Falls Gardens. There are so many highlights of our special day that I could go on and on.

It all began with the scenic and majestic limo ride from our hotel to Pukalani Falls. It then continued with me and my bridesmaid having our makeup and hair done in the cute little makeup cabaña adjacent the Hobbit House. This was one of my personal favorites because your makeup artist is unbelievably talented. I would DEFINITELY suggest ladies take advantage of this service as it is magnificent. His level of perfection and professionalism were awesome. He truly had the artistic ability to make me feel magically transformed into a movie star. My now husband brags to everyone how he went bodysurfing at Angels Bay, less that 100 yards away, while I was having my hair and makeup done at Pukalani Falls.

My point is, this day was absolutely all about us. And Capt. Howie it was you and your staff who made it all about us. You opened your home as if you had known us your entire life. I just cannot thank you all enough for being able to give us these memories.

Sometimes I close my eyes and relive the moments while we were there at the Pukalani Falls Garden. I picture the gorgeous tropical waterfalls, perfectly hatched hut, green golf course-like grounds, and breathtaking koi pond. Oh, how I am dreaming of being there right now.

I also wanted to thank you so much for following up on every detail. I can say with certainty, I had NO STRESS on my wedding day because I knew we were in good hands and I was right. My heartfelt appreciation also goes out to your fantastic videographer and photographer who were totally involved. Unfortunately, as you know we only had a few people that were able to travel so far with us. However, the video that your team produced made everyone I showed it to cry because it was so precious. We showed our “Wedding in Hawaii” video to all of our friends and family at a reception when we returned.

The photographs were just as special, as if they were from a magazine. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about having a wedding, to highly, highly consider being married at Pukalani Falls. Capt. Howie, your personalized and symbolic ceremony as well as the angelic surroundings will live in our memories forever. Thank you Chrissy for being so sweet every time we called or e-mailed you with a question. Thank you Capt. Howie for having the sweetest and most genuine smile and for being so caring. Thank you to everyone!!!

Our Hawaii destination wedding will be a day we will always remember, the beautiful location of Angel’s Bay beach, the bluest water imaginable, the soothing breeze of the trade winds, the warm white sand underneath our feet, the towering green background, and the most wonderful experience provided by our new family in Hawaii.

Before we even decided on a day you answered all our questions without any pressure. Your Knowledgeable advice was priceless and your services accommodating. Your make-up and hair artist was friendly and skillful. The lei and bouquet were exactly as we imagined them.

It was picture perfect and stress free. It was Paradise!

Capt. Howie, Chrissy, Jenny, Fernando, Rev. Rich and your doggie Shark all made “Our Day” memorable. Capt. Howie you gifted us with your beautiful words and christened our voyage into the covenant of marriage. Chrissy and Jen you guys went above and beyond making sure we got what we wanted. You had a wonderful, cheerful, and helpful attitude that calmed and reassured us. Your photographer Fernando’s professionalism and expertise behind the camera was undeniable. Your patience and attention to detail captured our memories for the years to come. Rev. Rich you were dependable and willing to jump in and assist. We wanted to write and thank you for the amazing services that you provided for our Hawaii wedding. Everything exceeded our expectations and there were no bumps of disorganization. Every interaction we had will all levels of your staff was amazing and sincere, and to be honest much, more than we had expected.

Your hair and makeup specialist was truly amazing. When I was told that the salon at Turtle Bay could not do my bridal hair and makeup two days before the wedding, I was in a state of panic. Thankfully, your amazing staff worked with me and had your hair stylist came directly to my hotel. My husband, who I have known for 15 years, could not take his eyes off me and I know that I had never been as beautiful to him as I was that day, which made my wedding in Hawaii that much more magical. This never would have happened with a normal salon for an up do and makeup. I would recommend this service to every single bride for their Hawaii destination wedding.

You were gracious enough to accommodate us at a beach on Oahu’s North Shore that had a special significance for us and timed our Hawaiian wedding ceremony so that the sun was setting just as we kissed. This created the most magical wedding photos I have ever seen. The photography as a whole was stunning and I have had so many comments on the great composition of the pictures.

The Youtube photo collage you created for us was a huge hit with both family and friends. Not only was it a great way to share the pictures with everyone, there is a wonderful sweetness in it. One of the best comments I received was from my sister in law, who stated “I have never seen a photographs that captured the romance and emotion of the day as your wedding photos did”.

Thank you so much for creating such a priceless memory. Most people have a wedding day that is a blur of activity and timed events and procedures. However, you gave us a day full of love and romance that exceeded our every dream.
