Dear Capt. Howie, Deva, Chrissy, Jenny, Wade & Fernando,
It seems like just last week we were with you all in paradise, but the busy holidays are now over and life is starting to slow down a bit. We hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday season and New Years! Somehow we imagine yours were a bit warmer than ours were in Kansas!
We wish to thank each and every one of you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. Neither of us would have changed one moment of our special day that was spent with you. We also wish to express our sincere thanks for making time in your busy schedule to meet with us the afternoon before our wedding. We were nervous about allowing plenty of time since we were staying on the west side of the island, and we felt a “practice drive” was in order. Add to that the fact we were both so very excited to see the beautiful Pukalani Falls and Angels Bay where we would be making our sacred vows.

We just want to say “thank you” to everyone who contributed to making our special day so unique and fantastic! Without a doubt, we made the perfect choice choosing you for our as Hawaiian wedding planner. Our ceremony, photography, and hair and makeup etc were all beyond description. We really appreciate your referral of staying at a beach bungalow in Waimanalo. This location is truly a hidden gem and makes for the perfect Oahu wedding!
We were both really nervous about planning a Hawaii destination wedding, but from the first moment we made contact with Chrissy, we felt at ease! She was very helpful and kind, and always addressed our questions and concerns. Planning a wedding with you was a truly easy and stress free process! It was exactly what we both wanted!
We had a combination wedding at Pukalani Falls Garden and Angels Bay. We are glad we made the choice to have our photos at both locations and to have the last minute option to choose where to have our ceremony. Pukalani Falls Garden is truly a magical place and made for incredible pictures! We were struck by the Garden’s awe inspiring beauty! Angels Bay is also totally gorgeous! We were both comforted by the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the white sand, and the turquoise water! Truly a romantic atmosphere! We couldn’t have been more pleased with the resulting photos from both locations! Also, many thanks to Fernando our photographer!
I can’t say enough about Wade, our makeup artist. I have never been one who liked having my hair and makeup done by someone other than myself, but I am so glad I made the decision to have them both done. Wade did a fabulous job, calmed my nerves, and made me feel and look like a princess. He is also an absolute sweetheart!
Finally, we want to thank Captain Howie and Deva for allowing us into their amazing Hobbit House home and making us feel welcome! Captain Howie gave a ceremony that was more than perfect. We are glad we did not choose a “cookie cutter wedding”. Captain Howie, we thank you for making our wedding ceremony so unique and memorable!
Once again, thank you all for a lifetime of memories and beautiful photos! You will all forever have a place in our hearts! Hello or should I say Aloha! I want to first say a BIG thank you to Capt Howie, Chrissy and Wade for making our wedding day so special and memorable! It truly was magically and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, Chrissy was so helpful & kind when I had questions or concerns and was even more so in person the day of our wedding. From the moment we stepped into the magical Pukalani Falls Garden, we were made to feel at ease. I can’t thank our makeup artist Wade enough for making me feel and look so beautiful on my special day. He truly is an artist!
We also want to thank Capt Howie for a lovely ceremony that was both sweet and unique all in one, and for making us feel welcome and totally relaxed.
Lastly, big thanks to Fernando for providing us a lifetime of memories with our beautiful photos.
I would highly recommend that if anyone is debating getting married in Hawaii to do it on Oahu and have Above Heavens Gate as their Oahu wedding planner. They truly love what they do and it shows!
