Dearest Captain Howie and Team,

We wanted to give you the deepest Thank You from our hearts. We must have spent months trying to figure out where we wanted to have our special day. It was overwhelming to ponder the numerous possibilities until we found you… “Weddings in Hawaii” I knew the second I spoke with you, after seeing the past ceremonies you have performed on the website, that this was our choice. Everything was so perfect! Hair and Makeup was perfectly divine. The photographer was wonderful. Working with everyone there was pure joy! We couldn’t have asked for more!

We recently received our pictures and they are amazing, beyond my expectations and more! Please feel free to share them on the site with the others.

To Captain Howie and all the people at Above Heaven’s Gate,

I can’t believe a year has already passed.  I just finished watching my daughter’s Hawaiian wedding video for the hundredth time and realized that I’ve never properly thanked you.  Last year we went to Hawaii for our daughter’s wedding.  I’d like to tell you, your island of Oahu is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.  God definitely knew what he was doing when he made Hawaii.

Our daughter chose Kaneohe Bay Gardens for their special day and it was the right place.  Your company put it all together. I might say the ceremony was very special.  Fernando, the photographer, took the pictures and did a fabulous job! He has a talent that exceeds him.  We were more than happy with his work.  And Chrissy, what can I say, her wedding video is something that movies are made of.  From the beginning, to the music, to the end – it’s amazing.  She is a credit to her profession.  Chrissy and Fernando were both charming and made everyone feel relaxed and natural the whole time.  I can’t say enough about your company.  Thank you so much for this special day.  It’s what memories are made of and you all made that happen.  Maybe someday, we’ll be lucky enough to come back to Hawaii and the Kaneohe Bay Gardens to revisit the place where my daughter Jeanne and her husband Dave’s journey began.

Thank you so much.  Keep up the fabulous work.  We’ll never forget you.

Dear couples on the search,

I went to Hawaii to renew wedding vows with my husband of 20 years and my experience with Above Heaven’s Gate was amazing. I live in Las Vegas and when I purchased the package online, communicating with Jodi and Sara was always easy and pleasant. When the big day arrived, our first impression was outstanding. The beautiful white limo was waiting for us. At first I didn’t believe it was ours because it was more than I expected. All of the flowers were beautiful and the attention to detail was exquisite.

Words can’t explain the beauty of our Beach wedding in Hawaii. The photographer, Fernando, was also very friendly and made a huge fuss over us – something you want when it comes to your big day. I can only say, the website does not do it justice; expect that, plus 100 times better.

Dear Captain Howie and Crew,

We just wanted to say thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful home, the Pukalani Falls Garden and Hobbit House, and making our wedding so easy and stress-free! I loved the fact that everything (flowers, cake, picture packages, and hair/makeup) was listed on your website with prices. All I had to do was go through and pick what we wanted. You guys did the rest! With two kids, time is not always easy come by. And, I really didn’t need any to plan our Hawaii wedding – which thanks to you, was fantastic. All we had to do was show up!

We received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. Thank you, Wade! The photographs turned out beautifully and everyone loved them. Thank you, Fernando! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Captain Howie! The flowers were fresh and lovely, the cake was delicious, and everyone in the office was so friendly, kind and helpful. Thank you all!

Dear Capt. Howie, Jodi and Gang,

This is just a quick message to express our thanks to Captain Howie and all of you at Above Heavens Gate!  You made everything perfect and we have incredible pictures to prove it!

We think that you have the most beautiful waterfall garden and beaches in the world for a wedding.  And we could not have asked for better customer service.  From the very beginning, Jodi was so helpful and easy to work with.  She answered all of our questions and made changes seem easy.  What a great Hawaii wedding planner – down to the smallest detail. Thanks!  You provided us with a day that we will remember for the rest of our lives.  It was absolutely wonderful.

Captain Howie performed a touching service with a personal message that meant a lot to us.  Angels Bay Beach, which we were fortunate to have to ourselves, was stunning and we were blessed with beautiful weather for a spectacular sunrise. We had so many worries and questions about a beach wedding in Hawaii but Capt. Howie and his staff took care of everything.  We feel that we now have great friends in the Hawaiian Islands.

We wanted to thank you for making our Hawaii wedding so special.  From the very start, your office staff was extremely helpful and made the planning process so easy.  The gardens at Pukalani Falls and golden sands at Angel’s Bay are so enchanting and beautiful. We couldn’t ask for anything more. Your makeup and hair artist, Wade, did an amazing job.  I couldn’t believe how I looked when he was finished.  Fernando, the photographer, really knows all the best shots to take in order to capture your perfect day.  Our coconut cake was also delicious and the flowers were stunning.

Lastly, we’d like to say, thank you, Capt. Howie, for your touching words and heartfelt ceremony.  I couldn’t imagine a more perfect Hawaiian Beach Wedding.  It was exactly what we dreamed it would be.

We wanted to send you all some Love and a Big Mahalo from Minnesota. Thank you again for a wonderful day! We couldn’t have scripted a more perfect ceremony on the beach.

Capt. Howie, your words touched all of us very deeply.  My father is still talking about it to this day. It was like you’ve known Jeanne and I for years.  Wade did an absolutely amazing job on Jeanne’s hair and make-up. She joked with me later to not expect it every day. Fernando is one of the best photographers we have ever seen. His pictures of us are fabulous!

From the beautiful Pukalani Falls Gardens, to Angels Bay Beach, we couldn’t have imagined a more scenic place to be married.  Thank you again for a perfect day.

We wanted to wait until we had the reaction of all our guests, at our reception back in California, to send you a thank you note. Thank you so much for hosting our wedding and making everything so easy and beautiful! If anyone wants a Sunset Wedding in Hawaii, this is the place to do it.  You had everything we needed to plan and the crew was professional and fun to work with.   From makeup and hair, to the photography, to the wonderful Hawaiian wedding ceremony, and the surprise outtakes coaxed from us at the end (an acoustic duet of Pinball Wizard)… we could not have wished for a more fun and meaningful experience.  Everyone loved the video and photos. They added so much to our reception.  It really was memorable and we would recommend a wedding at Above Heaven’s Gate to anyone that wants so much more than a standard cookie-cutter destination wedding in Hawaii.
