Hi Captain Howie & Gang,

Wow, I don’t know where to begin to thank you all for the most amazing day for us!  From the best stylist, to the professionalism and friendliness of Sara, our day could have not have been anymore perfect.

With our Hawaii destination wedding set, the next job was to find someone to create our perfect day.  I spent a month looking at so many different companies. The pictures were beautiful and they all sounded good, but I just wasn’t sold.  As soon as I clicked on the Above Heavens Gate website and saw Captain Howie on the front screen, I knew this was the right person for us. Something just instantly felt right. I looked no further.

From the beginning, I was always greeted with a friendly email or reply on the other end of the phone.  And, to my surprise, Captain Howie even answered our first call.  It took no time to lock in my wedding date and plan the day’s events.

The limousine was ready and waiting to take us on the beautiful drive to Pukalani Falls Garden.  The make up artist/hair stylist, Wade, is so talented and personable. Captain Howie’s Hobbit House is a masterpiece, an amazing oasis.  I had it in my head I was getting married on the beach, however Captain Howie’s Pukalani Falls Garden was so serene that I just had to get married there.

Having never been a fan of having photos taken, especially in front of strangers, I was dreading this part of the day.  The photographer, Fernando, is amazing!  I was blown away with the photos he took and his patience while explaining how to stand and pose ( it is safe to say Elle McPherson’s job is safe.   I am no next Top Model 🙂

Not wanting Christian, religious references included in our vows or day, the words Captain Howie spoke meant so much more to us and I will always remember this… Love.

Like the Above Heavens Gate website explains, this isn’t the type of wedding for everyone (mainly not for those who want a very traditional wedding).  It was the absolute perfect wedding for us and I wouldn’t have changed a single thing.  My parents, who attended are now thinking of coming back to Hawaii and booking a vow renewal with Capt. Howie!

So a huge thank you to Captain Howie and the gang for giving us a Hawaii wedding experience we will treasure, remember, and celebrate forever!

Mahalo,
