Dear Cap’n Howie and Above Heaven’s Gate,
Alexis and I would like to extend our deepest appreciation for our beautiful Hawaii wedding day. The fact that we were able to share so much together was made even more special through the professionalism displayed by all members of your staff. It was even better than we could have hoped for! We discussed several options including a traditional wedding with all the trimmings, but we ultimately decided that a Hawaii destination wedding was the best option for us. Cap’n Howie not only recommended certain services to be provided by his “crew” which enhanced our experience, but also recommended particular lodging and other activities in the same vicinity, which made things even easier and less stressful.
From the time I dropped my bride Alexis off at the gate, Wade assumed total responsibility for her and we must say that he did an absolutely phenomenal job with her hair & make-up. For photographer Fernando and videographer Kapila were very personable and set us at ease immediately. We expected that we would be very uptight and nervous but that was simply not the case with them telling jokes and telling us about their past travels. In no time, we were like old friends. The administrative staff was very pleasant to deal with and attended to our every need. I can’t thank them enough.
And Cap’n Howie was simply outstanding in every way. His persona was that of a revered eastern guru as his words were non-traditional and exuded a calming, profound influence while also imparting the significance of the occasion. We will never forget the wisdom of his words or forget him for his significant contribution to our lives.
Lastly, I want to say that the Hobbit House had a beautiful aura to it, along with the lovely Pukalani Falls, the colorful koi fishes, the tropical birds and the other wonderful landscaping and hardscapes. There simply cannot be another house like this in the world. We had the privilege of taking pictures around the falls, inside the Hobbit House and then walking to the beach for extraordinary views of Angels Bay before coming back and completing the ceremony with Cap’n Howie.
We really cannot thank you all enough! We are very delighted with our decision to be married through Above Heaven’s Gate and Cap’n Howie and in beautiful Hawaii!
