Aloha Capt. Howie, Jodi, and everyone at Above Heaven’s Gate!!!

We would like to thank you ALL for such a memorable experience. It was so much more than we had ever expected. From the first call we made to you, Jodi was wonderful. She was very caring and attentive to all our needs and wants. We spoke to her several times prior to our arrival to Waimanalo Oahu, as things and ideas changed.

We honestly do not know where to begin. We had a boat wedding booked in our home state, and we cancelled EVERYTHING after our first call to you. We booked our entire wedding again only this time with Captain Howie, the very same day! First, the flowers: The bride’s  bouquet, the cake top, and the groom’s lei tuberose were all great. The cake (we chose passion fruit) was so unbelievably good, we ate it all week while in Hawaii!

The incredible Pukalani Falls Garden and the Hobbit House were beyond words. Captain Howie delivered an unforgettable ceremony on the  breathtaking Angels Bay Beach which we had all to ourselves. Our pictures and CDs which arrived in less than two weeks were very nice. Thank you to our photographer Fernando, who not only took great shots, but made it fun. A very nice guy. Linda’s hair and make up was done flawlessly, and she had fun being pampered. Our thanks to Wade as well.

This was one of the most important days in our young lives together, and we couldn’t be happier. We put our trust, and our wedding in Captain Howie’s hands and we were far from disappointed. Mahalo!, to all of you great Oahu wedding planners there at Above Heaven’s Gate. Aloha!

Our dear friend Captain Howie,

It’s been almost 6 years since you married my husband, Mike & I. We talk of you often and tell everybody we can what a beautiful Hawaiian wedding we had. There is nothing on this Earth that could have made our day more special! You all did a wonderful job. One more child here on this end. We’ll be looking you up in another 4 years to renew our vows! I hope you’re doing well. By the photos on your website, you look GREAT! You don’t seem to age at all! We LOVE the book, Bhagavad-Gita, that you gave me. It has helped us with many of life’s lessons. We had so many expectations for our wedding in Hawaii. For everything that we wanted in our wedding, we had a list twice as long of things we didn’t want. We did our research and looked at all the other wedding options we had.

But as soon as a friend of ours told us that they were married by Capt. Howie who specializes in weddings in Hawaii, and we checked out your website, we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. Captain Howie just seemed to have such a great presence in every photo and video on your site. And the couples all seemed genuinely happy. The positive feeling we were getting was only reinforced that much more when we got to speak with your staff over the phone, and then finally in person.

The wedding Capt. Howie performed for us far exceeded our expectations. Everyone on your staff made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Your photographer and videographer, your assistant and your wife… they were all so warm and welcoming. And of course Captain Howie, you made us feel that all the planning and worrying about our wedding was for not, because the wedding you performed for us was nothing short of perfect.

We were so blessed to find you to be a part of our wedding. Our photos and DVD came faster than we had anticipated and were absolutely amazing! We will certainly have a lifetime of gratitude for you and for everything Above Heaven’s Gate does to make weddings in Hawaii so special.

Dear Capt. Howie and the gang,

Deciding on when to get married was easy for us but the big question was, “Where would be the perfect place?”. That was a little difficult.  Why? because we wanted it to be just the way we always dreamed about together.

When Gary came across your website, he never let it go. Then, when he told me about it and saw it for myself, all other choices went out of the window. The decision was made, Above Heaven’s Gate, it is!

Everyone in the family was happy, relaxed and excited during the entire event.  Our ceremony was amazing… all about love, commitment and marriage.  The vows were beautiful, touching and spiritually inspired.  We even had a brief rain shower just minutes after the ceremony, which really made us feel blissful and fortunate because we believe it was a blessing from up above.

Fernando and Kapila were the best photographer and videographer ever. They were so patient and never demanding, and obviously love what they do.  When we received the video, We immediately viewed it, and definitely loved it!  Its production was so original and naturally.  You truly captured the dream Hawaiian wedding that we honestly wished for. We just got hold of the pictures, gosh… they were so great!  We got so emotional when we saw them for the first time. It’s like we were back to that very significant day.  Indeed, you live up to your name.  Our celebration of marriage was fascinating and oh so heavenly.

Thank you so much for being part of our journey together. We highly recommend Above Heaven’s Gate to anyone looking for Hawaii wedding locations in paradise.

We just wanted to thank each of you for our lovely wedding on July 10th.  We could not have been more pleased with how every detail turned out. We were thrilled to be married on the Angels Bay Beach with the gorgeous Hawaiian ocean backdrop.

The pictures are fantastic! Special thanks to Fernando for his care in making sure the shots turned out so well.  Our passion fruit cake was scrumptious. Pukalani Falls Garden was absolutely beautiful.  Wade’s artistry with hair and makeup was phenomenal. The attention you and your staff paid to us and our family made our ‘special day truly magical!

Dear Capt. Howie and Team,

I just wanted to take a few moments to write and thank you again for everything. I was so nervous about booking our wedding day with a wedding planner on Oahu… complete strangers in a place I had never been. However, I was totally relieved when everything turned out even better than I had pictured and hoped for.

When we arrived at Pukalani Falls, we didn’t feel like we were out of place at all. Everyone made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The Cabana we were given to get ready in was great.

The girls in the office were so nice. I called several times before, and after the wedding, checking on things and asking many questions. They were always more than happy to answer them all.

Our pictures came out beautifully which we received just two weeks to the day after our wedding. The turnaround was super fast, and I really appreciated that. I really can’t believe how fast the pictures were done! It was such a nice surprise to see the photos on the slide show.

Pukalani Falls and Angels Bay were perfect, even better than it looks in the pictures. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful, just as I pictured. I absolutely loved them.

With your help, I married the love of my life, And because of all of you, everything was like a fairy-tail. Captain Howie‘s ceremony was so wonderful and heartfelt. I can’t stress to you how special this day was to me. Thank you for everything.
