Wow, wow, wow! Andy and I just had the chance to look at the video and pictures of our incredible Oahu wedding. Although just two short weeks ago were we privileged to have shared in the beauty of your shangri-la at Pukalani Falls Gardens. These pictures brought tears to our eyes. We can’t thank you enough for making our special day incredibly SPECIAL.

Sara was so helpful in making the arrangements for the wedding, from the beautiful leis to the limousine arrangements and advice for the luau. Your photographer and videographer were very friendly and professional and the pictures and video are BEAUTIFUL. Van, the limousine driver, was extremely accommodating in taking us around the island. He stopped at many breathtaking spots for us to admire and take pictures of to memorialize the beauty of it all.

And Captain Howie, what can we say about you? Where do we start? You are absolutely adorable! The beauty and power of your spiritual words was captivating and the sound of your singing and drums will stay in our hearts forever. We couldn’t take our eyes off of you. Greetings from Rochester New York,

Above Heaven’s Gate married us on Friday, March 23rd, 2012. I’ve always wanted a sunset wedding in Hawaii , and the location of our ceremony Pirate’s Cove on Oahu’ North Shore was truly a dream come true! We are from New York, so we had to do all of our planning over the phone. Jodi and Captain Howie were a pleasure to talk to. Jodi was very patient and took a lot of time to answer all of my questions. She also gave me some great suggestions! They made it so easy to have a beautiful wedding! They took care of everything and we had no problems the day of the ceremony!

Our efficient Reverend Rich, our photographer Piloni, and our videographer, Marty, were professional and accommodating. I thought for sure I was going to be a hysterical mess, but Piloni took a bunch of pictures before sunset and helped me relax before the actual ceremony. Our pictures are breathtaking and our video melts my heart every time I watch it!

It was an amazing experience to be married in Hawaii by Captain Howie’s gang from Above Heaven’s Gate! I am so grateful that we found the right people to help us celebrate and remember our special day! They are the #1 people to get married by (or renew vows) in all of Hawaii!!

Aloha to all our friends at Above Heaven’s Gate,
Thank you so much for making our Honolulu wedding day a dream come true! The event was everything we could have imagined it to be. Your office girls, Jodi and Sara, were so nice and very helpful in helping us plan our wedding. Your agent, Eric, was wonderful at helping us make all our travel arrangements. Any time I had a question, everyone was easily available to answer them.

When we arrived, we were taken by surprise at how beautiful Angels Bay Beach and your gardens at Pukalani Falls were! The pictures on your website are beautiful but to see everything in person, it just takes your breath away!

I was so satisfied with everything! My flowers, our pictures, our ceremony, everything was simply amazing! My bouquet was exquisite and stayed fresh for a long time!

Wade is the ‘beauty master’. This guy can work miracles! I also enjoyed talking with him very much while he made me look great! He even was helpful suggesting places to eat and visit, as was our photographer Fernando.Fernando did a fantastic job with our pictures! He was very friendly and fun. We have just received our pictures and everyone comments about how vibrant they are! We have been told many times that our Hawaii Wedding looks like a fairytale wedding. It really was!

Captain Howie, we very much enjoyed being with you. Our vows were so meaningful. Our ceremony will always be remembered as very special.

Aloha Capt. Howie and crew,

Our entire day was awesome.  Sara was warm and gracious from our first meeting on the phone.  Thank you, Sara, for answering all of our questions and for suggesting that we celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary on February 15th. It was a perfect day!  And to Wade, whom I will lovingly re-name: the “Master” make-up artist; you made me look absolutely beautiful.  What a testament to his skills.

Our photographer, Fernando, was so accommodating and the photos are absolutely breathtaking.   I have posted some pictures on Facebook and everyone has commented on how beautiful they are as well as the scenery; the Pukalani Falls Garden, I love the koi pond and the parakeets were my favorite.  Everyone felt like when they looked at the pictures they were actually “there”! The pictures were more than professional yet personal.  The best idea was having you make our photo album into an interactive CD with music in the background. It is just like a storybook.

And of course, thank you Capt. Howie. Renewing our wedding vows in Hawaii was an experience that we will never forget. Thank you for making us an MP3 audio recording. With this new technology, we can keep your words forever. They were so powerful. What you gave to us was clearly more spiritual than you will ever know. The pictures reflect the atmosphere that we felt which was absolute “Peace”.  Thank you for not only creating a place and atmosphere that felt so serene and as close to Heaven as one can possibly feel; but also, thank you for sharing what God has given to you.

Tory and I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for such a beautiful Hawaiian wedding on Oahu. We wanted “no fuss or hassle” when planning for our wedding and that was definitely achieved with Sara and the crew.

Sara was excellent Oahu wedding planner – no fuss or hassle. Everything was just like we requested over the phone. Rev. Rich was excellent and such a carefree and kind soul. Fernando was amazing with the camera and helped us to feel relaxed and comfortable. Lastly, I can’t forget hair and make-up via Wade, wonderful!

Simply put, it was the best day of our lives – even with the “off and on” tropical showers. We couldn’t have asked for more. So once again, to the team, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Aloha to all of our friends at Above Heaven’s Gate,

I just wanted to thank you all again. I especially want to thank our photographer, Piloni. All though we haven’t gotten our pictures back yet, he showed me some of them right after he took them. They were amazing! I know my husband and I are attractive people (LOL), but it takes talent to take beautiful pictures of people you just met. Piloni made me feel very comfortable and helped me relax before our sunset ceremony. He was very personable but not too chatty. I can tell his fashion background serves him well as a wedding photographer because he posed my husband and I in the most flattering ways! I might be biased, but they are the best wedding pictures I’ve EVER seen (feel free to use any of them on your website)! I am happy to have a sunset wedding in Hawaii, but I am even happier to have great pictures of our special day.
