What can we say… our wedding was the greatest event of our lives! Above Heavens Gate helped provide us with a truly remarkable experience that was wonderful, non-stressful, and all that the other testimonials I read pronounced it to be. You guys  add new meaning to Hawaii destination weddings.

To begin with Captain Howie and his team were great. They answered our every question, assisted us in our every need, and ensured that we were ready when our big day came. Our package included hair and makeup. We are so glad that we added that service as both my hair and makeup were done beautifully not to mention the fact that the whole time was spent in great conversation with our artist, Wade! Our pictures turned out really, really, well thanks to Fernando who was a joy to work with and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the session. The Pukalani Falls Garden and Angels Bay were truly breathtaking.

Finally the ceremony was very touching and meaningful for both of us. Captain Howie’s insight into marriage and his excitement and energy was fantastic. We really could not have imagined a better, more relaxing way to begin our lives together than getting married with Captain Howie at Above Heavens Gate.

Danny and I just received the pictures and video of our wedding ceremony. We are at a loss for words to express how pleased and blessed we feel in how beautiful they turned out.

Everyone we met at Above Heaven’s Gate made us feel very welcome and wonderful. You all made both Danny and I feel so special on our wedding day and we appreciate that so very much. Because of all of you, my eight year old daughter Elishjah felt more like a princess then a flower girl. Most of all she thoroughly enjoyed the photos taken at the amazing Pukalani Falls Garden. We feel privileged to be able to say we have been there ourselves. Above Heaven’s Gate made our wedding day feel so unique.

We had a lot of people on the mainland anxious to see our photos. When they saw them, their breath was taken away. Our family and friends who weren’t able to join us totally enjoyed how Captain Howie put such a personal touch to our wedding ceremony. The pictures were so BELLAS (beautiful) that no one ever noticed that I placed the ring on Danny’s right hand because I was so nervous. I always end up pointing it out so I keep laughing at myself and not feel so bad.

Thank you, Mahalo and Gracias so much for all the details and the wonderful positive loving vibes we all received from you all. We will carry the experience forever. Not just because it was our wedding but because of how wonderful Capt. Howie and everyone at Above Heaven’s Gate made us feel on a special day. I apologize for the delay, but I’ve finally settled back into the real world after our wedding and honeymoon….I guess I just have been swept up in wedded bliss! I wanted to take some time to sincerely thank you for such a beautiful Hawaiian wedding ceremony at Pukalani Falls!  There literally wasn’t a single thing about it that didn’t turn out absolutely perfectly!  I would like to provide you all with a useful testimonial for your website for those couples that may get married in Hawaii.

When I look back on that day and try to think about what to write, I just become so overwhelmed, I don’t even know where to start.  Not only was the waterfall garden setting so pristine and picturesque (and we were blessed with gorgeous weather!), but Capt. Howie delivered such a touching, unique, and meaningful ceremony, too….everything was just perfect!  Jeremy, my family, and I really enjoyed our time at Capt. Howie and Deva’s beautiful “Hobbit House” home and would like to thank you all for your kindness and hospitality!

Many people refer to their wedding day as “the happiest day of their life.”  I truly believe that each day with Jeremy is the happiest day of my life, however, I will surely look back on our wedding day with much happiness and joy!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We are honestly still celebrating one year later.   Captain Howie and his Crew provided us the most MAGICAL way any couple could begin their new chapter in their life together.  This special day was all about “The two of us”!  No drama, No stress, and VERY cost effective!  We cannot express in words the experience the entire family had with Above Heaven’s Gate.  We can share that Abigail our 4 year old niece continues to share this experience as a fairy tail Hawaii wedding story at the dinner table.  From the hassle free Hawaii marriage license, to the best makeup and hair artist, to the most beautiful flowers ever, to the unbelievable talent of the photographer, let us not forget the amazingly delicious coconut cake and most importantly the memorable Hawaiian wedding ceremony by Captain Howie, we cannot express our appreciation and gratitude.  Needless to say, you will never attend a wedding ceremony that tops a ceremony with Above Heaven’s Gate!  We definitely did it “Our Way”!

Iris and Dave Lannigan – Destination Weddings in Hawaii

We’d like to thank you all so much for the beautiful Hawaiian wedding you arranged for us in August. We still think back about our special day very often and remember it very fondly. Family and friends have all been “wowed” by our amazing photos.
We felt very welcome in your beautiful paradise. The setting of our wedding in the gardens of Pukalani Falls could not have been any better. The photos on the beach at Angels Bay certainly impressed everyone back here in the UK and Belgium.

Also many thanks to your make up artist Wade who did a brilliant job and was so kind to do my sister’s hair as well even though this was not arranged beforehand. The photographer was lovely and knew the place so well. He really made us look so good and happy together.

Thanks for the tip on Cinnamon’s Cafe. We had the best wedding breakfast ever.

You guys are truly at the top of destination weddings in Hawaii. We hope all of you are keeping well and go on organizing many more weddings to fulfill people’s dreams of getting married in Hawaii.

We hope to come back one day and show our daughter what a wonderful place we chose to get married.
