Dear Captain Howie and the Gang,

We wish so much to have gotten back to you all sooner with how much we enjoyed our experience. Coming back from your honeymoon can unfortunately throw you back into the “real world” more quickly than sometimes expected.

During the early phases of trying to figure out what to do for our wedding, a lot of ideas came up – particularly getting married in Hawaii. We had thought that might exceed what we could financially consider reasonable. After looking around on the Internet though, we fortunately came across hawaiiweddings.com and began watching the videos. You all had us hooked, wanting to know more.

When we made our first phone call to you, we were so surprised at the comforting feel we got from making the arrangements with you. We were even more astounded that Captain Howie answered himself!

Wedding planning can be very hectic but you made things more stress-free than we could have ever imagined. That says so much when coming from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. Our ability to simply tell you our choices and have it all come together in the end was simply a dream come true.

So, we thank you all for everything you have done to assist us in planning a Hawaii wedding. You all truly planted a memory that will be remembered for eternity. Most importantly, you unified us as a couple in holy matrimony.

Aloha Captain Howie,

Above Heaven’s Gate fulfilled our every desire for a beautiful, stress-free, and spiritual Hawaiian wedding! EVERYTHING was done exactly as we desired. There was never a question left unanswered. We were first met with an outrageously beautiful stretch limo and were driven along the coast to witness breathtaking scenery. Once we arrived at Pukalani Falls Garden, Captain Howie, his wife Deva, and staff met us. Wade, the makeup artist and hair stylist was every girl’s best friend.  He made me look truly beautiful. Captain Howie’s Pukalani Falls Gardens were just as I pictured – a place of serenity and love.

Captain Howie’s Hawaii ceremony was spiritual and undoubtedly personal.  None of us will ever forget it. In fact, all that were present are still quoting Captain Howie and his analogies! Thank you to ALL at Above Heaven’s Gate. We highly recommend Above Heaven’s Gate to anyone in need of the best in Hawaii wedding coordinators. Scott and I will be eternally grateful for a truly wonderful experience.

WOW! Where does one begin and are there words to adequately express what our hearts felt that day?

Thank you Captain Howie for making our Hawaii vow renewal on our 35th wedding anniversary so beautiful and perfect.  We have tried to renew our vows since our 25th but were faced with numerous obstacles.  Our love only grew during these difficult times and finally our dream came true.

God works his blessings in so many ways, as the military stationed our son in Hawaii. Our son is planning to marry and happened to check out Capt. Howie’s Hawaiian Weddings website. Thankfully, he mentioned it to my husband and I. We also checked it out and yes, the rest is history.  It was everything we were looking for. It was truly a blessing having our son join us there with his fiance’ for the ceremony!

Words cannot express the love and joy our hearts felt this day.  I truly felt like a new bride and a princess. Amazing to still feel this way 35 years later.  I was so nervous and excited, crying from the love and happiness I felt.

We will never forget the spirituality we both felt, and blessings we experienced, at Pukalani Falls and Angels Bay. They were both breathtaking. We felt the magic on July 2, 2011 and have not come back to reality since. This special day will be etched in our hearts forever.

Capt. Howie, thank you for the beautiful Hawaiian vow renewal ceremony! Thank you also Fernando, for making us feel so relaxed during our photo shoot.  And, thank you Ruth for the perfect job on my hair and makeup.

Paul and I would just like to say a massive thank you for making our Oahu wedding day so special! Everything was so easy for us from the first email we sent to the morning we actually arrived. I’m so pleased that we chose you guys! Angel’s Bay Beach was very peaceful and beautiful. It was exactly what we were looking for as a place to express our love and commitment to one another. You also have such a lovely home, with gorgeous waterfalls, where we had some amazing photos taken.

Above Heaven’s Gate was just perfect! As a mother, you want your daughter’s wedding to be very special. My daughter and her husband agreed that the wedding was all and more than we could have hoped for. This was our 35th anniversary and our other daughters 5th anniversary as well. Capt. Howie made all 6 of us feel so very blessed. During the service, I looked over at my husband as the tears glided down his face. Never mind that the Pukalani Falls Garden, Captain Howie’s Hobbit House and Angels Bay Beach are truly a sight to see. It was Captain Howie’s heartfelt message we received during the service that was absolutely priceless. All six of us walked away and could do little more than talk about the wedding service. Captain Howie’s office manager, Sara, made sure everything was just perfect. It does a parents heart good to see her children so happy.

We all hope to return to the Hawaiian island paradise again. The next time Cassandra & Steve will celebrate their anniversary. We all talked it over and there is no place we would rather go, than back to “Above Heavens Gate”. Thank you all for everything you did to make our daughters wedding, Chase & Candes 5th anniversary and our 35th anniversary a dream come true.

Aloha Everyone at Above Heaven’s Gate,

Back in Texas, when Steve asked me to marry him, I thought he was joking. He was not. He was suggesting was a beach wedding in Hawaii. I immediately started searching the web for Hawaii destination wedding venues. I came across a lot of sites. Above Heaven’s Gate included all of the services I wanted: hair and make-up, limo, photography, video, A spectacular Hawaiian beach, and above all – one of Captain Howie’s original personalized ceremonies. I made that phone call and in matter of minutes Jodi made my dreams come true by saying yes to all of my questions. The date was set for June 2nd 2011 on Angel’s Bay.

Our Hawaii wedding day was everything I dreamed of, starting when Ruth arrived at our hotel to do my hair and make-up. She was truly a blessing. Ruth made us feel so comfortable. It was like we had known each other forever. She is awesome! When I looked at myself in the mirror for the first time I said, “I am hot!” Thank you Ruth, for making me beautiful and helping me get dressed for our special day.

When we arrived at the golden sand beach at Angels Bay, your wonderful staff greeted us. Jodi, I was so glad to have finely met you. Thank you for everything. You are wonderful! Fernando was an amazing photographer who was able to capture the most beautiful moments. The pictures were extraordinary! Kapila did a wonderful job videotaping everything that day on the beach. We loved our Hawaii wedding video. I cried when I saw if for the first, second, OK and the third time.

Captain Howie’s ceremony was very meaningful. It truly touched us both. It was the most beautiful morning I could have imagined to marry the love of my life – my best friend. We will never forget that special moment we promised our heart and souls to one another.

Sara and Deva, thank you for taking care of us when our limo was held up. It was worth the wait and we had the opportunity to see the magical gardens where they served us cake and cider in the cozy thatched gazebo at Pukalani Falls..

Let us start by saying: words cannot express the gratitude we experienced on that GOD-given day in which he allowed you to bring us together as one.

Captain Howie, your service was amazing! We are still talking and sharing the joy of that holy day with others.  The words are something we took deeply and personal.  The ceremony was wonderful, just what we wanted and more.  Our beach wedding on Oahu was great and we wish we could rewind the clock and do it again and again.  We didn’t want the day to end.

Fernando, the photographer was great! He allowed us to choose a couple of our own poses.  The rest were his magic.

Deva, thanks for making us feel welcome in your home. It was absolutely beautiful and the flowers you picked for my hair matched Andre’s suit perfectly.

Also, kudos to my wonderful husband Andre.  It was his idea for us to get married in Hawaii.  We adamantly recommend “Above Heaven’s Gate” for every couple who doesn’t want any hassle planning a Hawaii beach wedding.
