Dear staff of Above Heavens Gate,

We would like to sincerely thank you for the wonderful and meaningful wedding that we were able to have. Both my husband and I had specific spiritual and physical needs when it came to a marriage ceremony. We wanted it to represent the commitment we were making to each other, our families, and to God. Captain Howie gave us a unique and sincere ceremony that touched our hearts and will always be remembered.

Our makeup artist was professional and did an amazing job, while also taking into consideration the way I wanted to look for the ceremony. He was great fun to talk to and the time just flew by. I had the honor of having him sign my guest book.
The photographer and videographer both did an incredible job, and we also received our photographs and video promptly. We have watched the video three times so far and each time it touches us deeply. We have also been able to share our special moment with family and friends.

The wonderful ladies in your office put everyone at ease, and were a tremendous part of making the experience a success.

So once again, thank you all so much for a great wedding on Oahu, and for being a part of our day, and making our lives just that much more special.

Tyler and I wanted to thank you for the fantastic experience we had on our wedding day at Pukalani Falls and Angels Bay. We expected the process of planning a Hawaii wedding from out of town to be very tough. However, each time we were in contact with anyone in your office, the process was seamless.  The customer service was above and beyond. Apparently, you all know how to deal with high-anxiety brides!

Your website and happy customer testimonials helped us feel at ease. My expectations were really high after seeing the many beautiful weddings you performed. It all seemed too good to be true.  But our wedding was so amazingly beautiful and special.  Our friends who saw our photos can’t believe how picturesque our setting was.

The day was made even more perfect with the help of our makeup artist, Wade. He did such a natural yet glamorous job on both my makeup and hair.  He was so friendly and professional.  We really clicked and he made me feel like a princess!

Our photographer, Fernando, was the sweetest, mellowest guy.  He made us feel relaxed so we could just have fun.  He knew what he was doing and got the light and wind working in our favor!  I love our pictures and will treasure them for forever.

Captain Howie was amazing.  He did such a great job including my daughter in the ceremony and making us all feel like we were making commitments to become a new family.  I would highly recommend Above Heaven’s Gate to anyone considering getting married in Hawaii.

Dear Capt. Howie, Deva and Crew

Thank you so much for the awesome experience you created for us on our wedding day.  It was a difficult decision for us to leave our family and friends and to marry in a place away from home but we wanted to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones and to have an amazing experience that they would always remember.  So much of a traditional wedding ceremony is riddled with tension and sometimes drama.

Our experience in Hawaii and at Above Heaven’s Gate was so relaxed and fun.  It was exactly what a wedding should be. From the moment we had begun to arrange the wedding, we knew we had chosen correctly.  When dealing with Chrissy and Jenny there was no stress and everything was taken care of.

The limo ride was a great adventure from the start.  From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with Aloha.  It was an honor to meet everyone who had a part in our special day.  Wade did a wonderful job with my hair and make-up.  It was great to meet and converse with him.  Our photographer Fernando and his videographer were so easy going when taking the pictures and video.  The pictures and video are absolutely stunning.

Deva, we thank you for all your help and especially for helping me with my dress.  We enjoyed meeting your parrots.

Capt. Howie, your words touched us deeply during the ceremony.  It was as if you had known us for some time.  We both agreed there was no better way we could have been married and no better words could have been said.  It was truly a unique, exciting and fun experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We cannot thank you enough.

We just got our Pukalani Falls and Angels Bay pictures and video today and we had to get back on your website to tell you how happy and pleased we are with how everything turned out. Tom and I were so excited to watch the video with our daughter, Kelsi, so she could see her dad and I getting married in paradise. Both Tom and I balled like babies, totally reliving that day – emotionally. The video and photos far exceeded our expectations and we can’t say enough how glad we are that we decided to have our Wedding Hawaii Style with Capt. Howie! We are so thrilled to show all our friends and family our photos and video at our reception on the big screen!! You guys do exceptional work!! It seems like just last week we were with you all in paradise, but the busy holidays are now over and life is starting to slow down a bit. We hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday season and New Years! Somehow we imagine yours were a bit warmer than ours were in Kansas!

We wish to thank each and every one of you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. Neither of us would have changed one moment of our special day that was spent with you. We also wish to express our sincere thanks for making time in your busy schedule to meet with us the afternoon before our wedding. We were nervous about allowing plenty of time since we were staying on the west side of the island, and we felt a “practice drive” was in order. Add to that the fact we were both so very excited to see the beautiful Pukalani Falls and Angels Bay where we would be making our sacred vows.

We just want to say “thank you” to everyone who contributed to making our special day so unique and fantastic! Without a doubt, we made the perfect choice choosing you for our as Hawaiian wedding planner. Our ceremony, photography, and hair and makeup etc were all beyond description. We really appreciate your referral of staying at a beach bungalow in Waimanalo. This location is truly a hidden gem and makes for the perfect Oahu wedding!

We were both really nervous about planning a Hawaii destination wedding, but from the first moment we made contact with Chrissy, we felt at ease! She was very helpful and kind, and always addressed our questions and concerns. Planning a wedding with you was a truly easy and stress free process! It was exactly what we both wanted!

We had a combination wedding at Pukalani Falls Garden and Angels Bay. We are glad we made the choice to have our photos at both locations and to have the last minute option to choose where to have our ceremony. Pukalani Falls Garden is truly a magical place and made for incredible pictures! We were struck by the Garden’s awe inspiring beauty! Angels Bay is also totally gorgeous! We were both comforted by the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the white sand, and the turquoise water! Truly a romantic atmosphere! We couldn’t have been more pleased with the resulting photos from both locations! Also, many thanks to Fernando our photographer!

I can’t say enough about Wade, our makeup artist. I have never been one who liked having my hair and makeup done by someone other than myself, but I am so glad I made the decision to have them both done. Wade did a fabulous job, calmed my nerves, and made me feel and look like a princess. He is also an absolute sweetheart!
Finally, we want to thank Captain Howie and Deva for allowing us into their amazing Hobbit House home and making us feel welcome! Captain Howie gave a ceremony that was more than perfect. We are glad we did not choose a “cookie cutter wedding”. Captain Howie, we thank you for making our wedding ceremony so unique and memorable!

Once again, thank you all for a lifetime of memories and beautiful photos! You will all forever have a place in our hearts!
