Aloha to Captain Howie and his “crew”!
Mahalo for making our wedding day everything we had envisioned and more. We just received the photos that Fernando took and they are fantastic! It was wonderful to see the electronic photo album set to Hawaiian music and to hear Captain Howie’s words again (you were right – we couldn’t remember much of what was said that day)!
Wade did a fabulous make up job on the bride and maid of honor – we nicknamed him “The Magician” – he made us look and feel so beautiful while entertaining us all the while!
Chrissy and Jody – you make a great crew and your attention to detail was greatly appreciated! You are great Hawaii weddings planners. The plumerias we ordered for the bridal bouquet, and the lei for the groom and cake top were spectacular!
Captain Howie’s words were heartfelt and we are already talking about renewing our vows at Above Heaven’s Gate.! The warmth of spirit was palpable at the Hobbit House and Pukalani Falls Garden that day. Mahalo to Captain Howie and Deva for opening your home to us and making us feel so at ease. When we first opened the Above Heaven’s Gate website we knew it felt like a fit for us and we were so right!
As a side note of “small world” stories – when we flew back from Honolulu after our 9 day honeymoon on the Big Island we sat right next to one of Captain Howie’s friends – a man named Rick Edwards – what are the odds of that?? Also, thank you for suggesting Patrick Ching’s gallery when we asked about a local art gallery – we bought a beautiful painting of Waimanalo Beach that is so special to us!
